Waterford City Council – asbestos surveying
Waterford City Council architects department is responsible for upgrading local authority housing to meet modern requirements. Typically, this would involve using outside contractors to carry out an asbestos survey of each unit. We were asked to locate and identify asbestos-containing material in the houses.

- Compiled an asbestos management policy
- Developed a construction management procedure
- Completed surveys

OHSS drafted an asbestos management policy and carried out an audit of units to identify asbestos-containing material.
