ESB Energy International – Noise and vibration monitoring programme
ESB Energy International produces electricity from a variety of plant and renewable sources. As with most industrial plant, noise and vibration are unavoidable hazards. We were asked to help minimise both.
Steps taken:
- Developed noise and vibration policy
- Carried out noise and vibration monitoring
- Risk assessment
Solution:
A noise and vibration policy was drawn up together with a monitoring protocol. OHSS implemented this throughout the country.

As a result of our work, ESB has succeeded in minimising the risks associated with noise and vibration.
