At OHSS, we offer a range of services relating to occupational hygiene and asbestos abatement, something we have been doing for our many happy clients since 2001. As well as offering training in asbestos awareness and offering asbestos removal and disposal services, we also provide a range of services covering all aspects of safety in the working environment.

Amongst this array of services is vibration analysis and noise measurement, something that is of particular concern to those whose professions are carried out in very noisy environments. The reason being that if an employee is exposed to extreme levels of noise or vibration, they are at particular risk of coming to harm.

Noise damage can cause severe hearing loss that at worst, can be permanent and vibrations caused by operating vibrating machinery can result in harm coming to the vascular and nervous system. We can provide vibration analysis and equipment assessment for any company that feels that it may be operating in this kind of environment.

Whilst in the field, we take vibration measurements and conduct acoustical audits, both of which are geared towards determining the risk present at any given workplace, which then allows us to provide effective control solutions and prevent harm coming to any of your employees.

Risk assessments typically include an analysis of the types of noise encountered, as well as the amount of time employees are exposed to it. Immediate risks are dealt with first and then preventative measures are implemented to cover any future potential hazards.
