Asbestos surveys are critical, particularly before any refurbishment or demolition work, as disturbance of ACMs can release dangerous fibres into the air, putting workers and occupants at risk. Two main types exist: Management Surveys and Refurbishment & Demolition Surveys.
Management surveys are designed to manage ACMs in place and ensure they remain in good condition, while refurbishment and demolition surveys are more invasive, designed to locate all ACMs in areas being upgraded or torn down.
